BFW Day Four moves from metallic futurism to draped eveningwear and refined ivory ease
Day Four at the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week unfolded in a sequence of contrasts, from sculptural metallic student work to layered craft, fluid shimmer and tailored softness. The line-up moved through colour, sheen and drape with a clear evening register.
Bengaluru, 18 October 2026 — Day Four of Bangalore Fashion Week, 27th Edition, traced a broad arc across eight presentations, beginning with the sculptural metallic codes of Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala. The student showcase set a futuristic tone through layered surfaces, saturated colour and architectural volume, giving the runway an immediate sense of tension between structure and movement.
MEGHBALIKA by Sailee Maiti followed with a more ornate rhythm, where sheen, embroidery and rich drape carried the collection through metallic pink, saffron, teal, gold and deep navy. The mood shifted again with FOGG Fashion Company by Nizar, which pared the palette back to metallic neutrals, soft gold and taupe. Sheer drapes, sequined surfaces and flowing skirts gave the sequence a light, luminous finish.
Chandi Jadat Vastra by Pujara brought jewel tones and intricate embellishment into focus, with structured blouses, fluid sarees and softly layered separates creating a study in drape and surface craft. Label Aaradhya by Srija Uppe introduced a sharper contrast, moving between saturated colour, woven texture and layered drape, with folk-inflected richness set against monochrome tailoring.
LA Maison de by Kashmiri Das turned to liquid satin, soft blush tones and floral surface work, shaping eveningwear through draped gowns, layered volumes and sheer winged panels. The collection carried a polished softness, its surfaces catching light with a restrained, petal-like delicacy.
MM Javeed brought menswear into the day’s visual register with embroidered surfaces, fluid drapes and restrained metallic sheen in pearl, taupe, blush and coral. Rina Dhaka closed the day’s sequence in layered ivory and metallic ease, balancing softness with structure through fluid skirts, tailored layers and hand-finished detail. Across the line-up, Day Four held together a spectrum of moods, from futuristic and embellished to luminous, tactile and composed.
