Pradeeptha Reddy Label turns to ornate lehengas and sari drapes at BFW Day One
At the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week, Pradeeptha Reddy Label presented a sequence of richly worked occasion looks in jewel tones, metallics and embroidery-led finishes. The silhouettes moved between lehenga skirts and sari-inspired drapes with a polished, ceremonial mood.
Bengaluru, 15 October 2026 — Pradeeptha Reddy Label’s Day One showcase at the 27th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week unfolded in a language of surface richness and formal ease. The collection was anchored in occasion dressing, with voluminous skirts, fitted blouses and draped panels creating a strong, composed line on the runway.
A deep green ensemble set the tone with a heavily embroidered skirt, its dense floral and vine-like motifs worked across a full silhouette. The blouse was cut close to the body and finished with elaborate texture, while the drape fell diagonally across the torso, lending the look a structured yet fluid balance.
The palette shifted into warm saffron and orange in a second look, where a lustrous skirt moved with a broad sweep and a richly bordered drape traced the body. The blouse carried matching embroidery, and the overall effect was one of ceremonial radiance, with the sheen of the fabric catching the runway lights.
A vivid pink ensemble introduced sharper colour intensity. The skirt carried a fuller volume and a decorated hem, paired with a sleeveless blouse and a drape set across the shoulder and waist. The embroidery remained concentrated along the borders and bodice, giving the look a defined frame against the saturated pink base.
In a softer register, a pale metallic-toned look brought together silver, champagne and muted green hues. The skirt appeared layered and expansive, with ornate edging and a reflective finish, while the blouse was closely fitted and richly worked. Across the collection, Pradeeptha Reddy Label relied on a classic Indian festive vocabulary, rendered through disciplined construction, intricate embroidery and a palette that moved from earthy green to glowing orange, pink and metallic neutrals.
