BFW in its drive to adapt the Fashion Week to India's Climatic conditions instead of Europe or the West; Launched the Winter / Festive Season in July 2009 and received Overwhelming Response.

Indian Climate is Dominated by Monsoon and BFW is Introducing the Concept of Showers replacing the Season Spring with Monsoon.

Bangalore International Fashion Week is an initative to Bring International Designers to India and help Indian Fashion establish a connect with International Fashion Designers and International Institutional Buyers.. With a roaring success of the International section in the last couple of editions; BFW dedicates a section as 'Bangalore International Fashion Week' for International Designers to showcase..
